Robotnik had been defeated. Infinite presumed dead, and the Phantom Ruby gone missing. These three things brought about the end of the Egg War that had been fought and won by the Resistance, the spiritual successor to the Freedom Fighters of times past. None of which would have been possible without the help of one little rookie, a Timber Wolf by the name of Laik.

Hopping through several different, exciting and scary worlds before returning to his own, Laik has arrived back on Mobius with a whole slew of new problems, one that will threaten the very fabric of existence.
