I swear I did not miss a season! This art is from 21st of June, but I was so dissatisfied with the final result (their faces are strangely wide and snouts too big) that I didn't actually want to use it as an avatar, and then promptly forgot about it. I'm posting it now for the continuity of our seasonal avatars, and to admit that I make plenty of art pieces I end up hating and never showing to the public :')
Life didn't stop kicking us in the butt yet and we are beginning to suspect it's not just the universe choosing to bully us specifically, but a side effect of living in a world (or part of the world?) that's crumbling, seeing as the people around us are beginning to struggle with the same issues. We are counting our lucky stars to be in the fortunate position that we are in, because I cannot imagine actually having any sort of handicap to deal with on top of all this mess.
