Polished Bill Academy Manual. Chapter 6: Other departments and You.
An important thing you will inevitably deal with is the presence of other service organizations indentured to your client. A butler Is not just polite to their Master/Mistress, but to all facets of the service experience. We are cogs in a well oiled machine. while we may be the most polished and well oiled of said machine, there is nothing more respectable and virtuous than sharing the polish with your fellow servant. Praise the Pizza delivery boy. Ensure the plumber has easy access to refreshing drinks. Inform the Poolboy the Mistress is being Infidelitous where the chlorine tablets are, despite that he should already know. Even if there are other butlers or employees in the clients proximity, A butler is not here to compete. The satisfaction of the client is paramount. When the client is happy, we all win.
Buttlebeak Drone Log Day 8
So the interesting challenge about all of this is more than just drone training, but recruitment techniques. I'm afraid I've never been part of the hiring process, only training them. We have AD campaigns but it appears during Cognizant we're expected to onboard others to our service. That is a bit outside my skillset. However, I do have something that is in need of assistance I can DEFINITELY provide: The Orca Drones themselves.
I've been told by Mr. Tyde that the orca drones are in service here when they are sleeping in large chambers, and are fed programs to serve while they are resting. That simply won't do! No wonder Mr. Tyde wants to switch out the employees here. So we're taking the time to buff and polish the shiny coats of the orca drones on staff here, and they've taken such a 'shine' to it! Ohhh they have such a look of joy and satisfaction on their faces as we chamois away all the grime and worry. They don't have faces but I have no issue pretending! Perhaps the drones will get into the routine to request polishing that my Buttlebeaks would be happy to provide. and with happy clients, means positive reviews! Do orca drones know how to use yelp?
Well Penelope might be far behind the rest of the other Masterminds, but she's still doing her bevel best to make sure she is appropriately of service. The Orca drones so rarely get a chance to relax and take a break in Cognizant, since they're doing this during their hibernation period. But that doesn't mean they're incapable of enjoying a good buff shine. they'll be blinding civilians with their lovely polish by the end of the week!

the powers that be would say its only a matter of perspective- but i agree if i'm being honest and wouldn't submit like that in a depressing tek-addicted society either...i'm more of a rebel from the "undesirable" class of not interested in tech and willing to point out the emperor is wearing no clothes (and not in a good way).. now if it was clunky 80s tech and disguised bondage outfits, that's more my jam.
"Inform the Poolboy the Mistress is being Infidelitous where the chlorine tablets are, despite that he should already know."
1. I think there's a "with" missing there
2. That's hilarious.
Amusement at that specific bit aside, I love the whole idea here. Of them being kind to their fellow workers.
