This year I'm really coming around to putting more of a "swoosh" into my tail fur. I've seen other artists bring tails to life like that (and other long fur accents).

Honestly, I just love that little bit of fluff at the base of the tail - eyes are super drawn to that spot. Opposing fluff directions between tail and hair look lovely.

This is going to sound silly, but I always love how soft and 3D your stuff is, even in areas with minimal shading (?). It's making me feel like I should experiment with more interesting lighting that isn't as dramatic.

Thanks, that means a lot. What I like about subtle shading and detail is that it takes a moment to really see it, and kind of invites a little more attention. I'm still figuring out how to do this myself. Certainly worth a try, and some subtle shading with vibrant colors can be a gorgeous combination too.

Yeah for sure, there's just little bits of occlussion like there and it just makes the shapes pop so much more somehow. I'm sure I will continue to enjoy watching your progression. I need some more overcast days in my art it seems.

Im curious, what lead you to put the nude alt on patreon rather than posting it?

Was it part of a larger plan to build up a collection of patreon exclusive content? Is the nude alt delayed until a later date? Was it a simply arbitrary decision?

I want to build some value for my Patreon, so I've been putting more exclusive and early access work on there (like my personal sketches). When I have alternate versions of a piece, it seems like a good way to manage where I post them. My job situation changed recently and I'm trying to make my artwork a more serious form of income. I'll post a more thorough journal with the whole story soon.
