Thanks <3
Hmm for me it's hard to give you fitting advice, since I don't see any art in your gallery and don't know what skill level you're at and what you could need.
A lot is just practice, practice, practice ππ It's always the same answer, sorry! And also checking in with other's art and see what I'd like to know/be able to draw and then very personally/subjectively find ways to get there.
I like to study anatomy and did it over several years for intensive periods of time, I'd say. I had nude drawing sessions in uni every week for multiple years. I think I'm a somewhat slow learner, but it adds up. For me, the better my knowledge of anatomy got, the more I could *see* when looking at a reference and the more I could *use* a reference. I don't need to find the perfect one, it just needs to be good enough and I can just make up the rest.
And I get them just through google and stuff ... I have a huge folder of chubby photos and they are from tumblr or deviantart or bsky, just wherever people post that I find personally intriguing to look at (and therefore intriguing to draw :^) ) That's all!
The best general advide I have is: Find the stuff you love and draw that, so there's always this urge to draw, and the more you draw, the better you'll get, generally speaking.
And also, if you wanna improve: Take one step at a time. Better focus on one aspect as a time an get that right and then move on, instead of trying everything at once and being overwhelmed and discouraged.
Good luck on your journey!
