Description: Alex's first ever Pokemon, received as a Bulbasaur from Professor Oak. He has been Alex's loyal and trusted partner ever since.

Name: Volty
Species: Raichu
Moveset: Thunderbolt, Swift, Quick Attack, Thunder Wave
Description: The first Pokemon Alex ever caught, as a Pikachu in Viridian Forest. She was rather shy at first, but quickly became one of Alex's favorites.

Name: Simon
Species: Hypno
Moveset: Psychic, Headbutt, Confusion, Toxic
Description: A Pokemon Alex caught as a Drowzee in order to strengthen his team. His powerful Psychic abilities made him a reliable asset.

Name: Doug
Species: Dugtrio
Moveset: Earthquake, Slash, Dig, Rock Slide
Description: While traveling through Dark Cave, Alex would encounter and capture a Diglett. Their strength and speeds let them hit hard and fast.

Name: Kiki
Species: Dodrio
Moveset: Drill Peck, Tri Attack, Fly, Fury Attack
Description: Alex caught a Doduo on his way to Celadon City. Not only is she a strong fighter, but she's also a reliable mode of transportation.

Name: Nessie
Species: Lapras
Moveset: Surf, Ice Beam, Body Slam, Strength
Description: While liberating Silph Co., Alex was given a Lapras by one of the employees. Although inexperienced, she proved to be a powerful fighter, and a great way to travel across the sea.
