Pogo Springs and his partner Midnight Moonlight were no strangers to magic as they had experienced the simple feeling of modularity and strange spells in the past. They were taking a stroll through the library one day, hoping to find a new and interesting spellbook to try out.
To their luck, there was a peculiar book in the archives which caught their eyes. A dazzling red tome adorned with gold and gemstones. The cover had a sticky note on it labeled Blades, Cuts, and Discs. This peaked their curiosity, so they decided to open the book, however they were greeted with a fine warning mentioning how the spells in this book could yeild unpredictable results. The two glanced at each other for a second until deciding that they would be able to handle whatever was in store.
They flipped through a few spells, noticing how they seemed rather bland. All until they came across one which was called “dividing discs”. The eager ponies couldn’t wait to see what it could do, and the notes in fine print to the side seemed to be scratched out. The daring couple, with curiosity, decided to chant the ancient words written on the page, until in an instant, a golden disc appeared in front of them. The disc, hovering for a moment jerked to life as they recited the final words, instantly flying through both pony’s necks. There was no pain, no blood, just a smoothed over stump of fur where their heads once sat.
In an instant, numerous discs appeared out of the air, and made quick work of the two pony bodies that were standing in confusion, leaving them sliced into numerous parts of varying sizes. Pogo was in awe of this spell, staring as the bits of his body fell to the ground. Pander, also in shock from the situation, took a moment to realize his vision parting in two opposite directions. Confused, he crossed his eyes and noticed a single disc flying away.
Here’s a little colored sketch and story that I made for two of my very good friends Pogo and Pander of their ponysonas getting into quite the peculiar situation. I previously had shown them a sketch of two of my characters having a sword fight, and ending up in pieces. They loved it, so it gave me an idea to draw. For one, I really wanted to draw more MLP art, along with some intensive modularity, so I put the two ideas together to make this.
I hope y’all like how it looks, and stay tuned for more goofy and cute doodles coming soon.
