I think its because her style has radically changed from something very UNLIKE Ifus' to something appearing carbon copied. Styles change naturally over time, sure, not over night. The art doesn't look 'sampled' it looks straight up purposefully copied. If you look in Ifus' full gallery you can see the slow gradual development over multiple years of time. Less than a year back Crimes' work changed dramatically from one style to a complete other. Its one thing to admire an artist and their style and sample a trait here or there but to 100% copy the entire style is stepping across some lines.

I'm just stating my opinion which is that of many people as well. In case you were wondering why exactly people are saying what they're saying, that is why. Not to start issue or a bawfest, I just thought you'd like the info.

Lol... talk about mountains out of molehills. Making claims such as how the art is 'carbon copied' when there isn't even a pair of pictures that look the same is pretty ridiculous. "Styles change naturally overtime, sure, not over night." LOL! Come on now... There's no way you can say that unless you've personally witnessed every picture she's drawn throughout time. And if you don't see any development in Crimes' gallery overtime, you must be blind. Don't you think saying all of this then claiming you're not trying to start anything makes you sound a wee bit passive aggressive..?

I'm sure if you commissioned both artists with the same details you would have 2 fantastic, completely different images for yourself. If different artists have similar styles, and you know you like atleast one of them, then how is it not a good thing? This reminds me of when I search similar bands I like on youtube, then all I see in the comments are people arguing which band is better than the other and 'they copied them' as if one can't exist with the other around. Why not?

I also find it funny that this problem arose coincidentally at the same time a character that shared the same colors as Ifus' fursona was drawn. It makes me wonder if this is one of those popularity issues rather than a copying issue, as the latter seems like a pretty big stretch save for a few people. Let's get real; I think most of us are out of highschool. We need to realize that you can do whatever you want on the internet and nobody's forcing you to click on anything. If we decide to use our internet time to act all cynical and cause drama while some people in this world go to sleep hungry every night, what does that say about ourselves? Life's too short for that bullshit. Really. So please, just enjoy yourself on here, because there isn't a reason not to!

I wasn't being passive aggressive at all, actually. It has nothing to do with the colors. It was just my singular observation. I'm also not a fan girl. I know of Ifus' work and personally it looks really similar. It was just a statement. I'm simply entitled to my opinion as are you in your posts. The whole "while some people in this world go to sleep hungry every night" seems a bit melodramatic. If you really felt that way you wouldn't have said anything at all to contribute. It was just my opinion, no one is forcing you to read it/like it/or reply. Besides that the icon looks rather nice.
