Thanks! Yep, although the low quality of the picture makes it look a lot better than it actually is. (chunky paint spots and scratches in the sculpting)
However, it's probably one of the sculptures I'm most proud of. I don't do too many, though.

Will you be taking comissions? I'd love a Kurthnaga one. Though, I won't be able to pay you right away, still job searching. ^_^'

I WOULD, but I can't say I'm good enough to do that yet. I'm sure that it would be good to be able to make something that doesn't break so easily. Once I practice resin casting more, I might be able to. That will be in a pretty long time, though. I need to get a job as well, just to pay for my own materials (resin and silicone can get REALLY expensive!). then I need to master the airbrush. I only use a paint brush now (although I try to thin my paints to make it looks as smooth as possible) because I haven't gotten around to getting an awesome professional grade (or at least one that gets the job done) airbrush. I think my sister is getting one for Christmas.
I also have really crappy work habits, so something like this could take me months to finish because I'm lazy (this only took me around 3 days to finish).
But I wish I could take commissions on these things! I love sculpting, and I'd like to see how a 2D image can pop out in 3D. It's oh-so interesting. <:

Heh, I'm the same way. I've been meaning to do these cosplay comissions I have over the summer, but I kept pushing it back and before I knew it school started again and them I really didn't have the time to work on them. XD Good thing Winter break is starting next week. Then I'll have to finish them up before the end of the month. XD
Keep me posted when you feel like you're ready to take comissions on a sulpture. I know how if feels to want to make it as perfect as possible. That's why I'm not taking fursuit comissions until I perfect my technique. Well aside from ear and tail sets. I know I'm good with those. :D

Haha, I remember I used to take plushie commissions (I quit because I got a LOT of work from it, it took away from a lot of my free time). I looked back at the first ones I did and they were terrible. Now they're not so bad, but man do I wish I could just redo the old ones.

Well officilly mine starts in 2 weeks but it's more like one week since I count the moment I leave school after my last final to be my break. :D
No worries, I can wait. You're the only one I know who makes custom statues, and fire emblem ones for that matter. I love this game so much, but sadly I don't see a whole lot of merchandise for it. :(
I don't know if I'll take plushie comissions. I made 2 so far and they came out pretty well for my first ones. They're Solrock and Lunatone. My brother and I are using them in our upcoming cosplays. That's going to be fun. :D I think I'll need more experience before I take comissions. So far I can do simple ones, but the more challenging ones like Suicune I'm making for a trade on DA, that's going to be difficult. O_o

I still have one more real week of school, and then the finals come the following week (I get out on Wednesday!)
Really? I know there are quite a few people that can do it. Although, they always cost a LOT. I understand, since materials cost quite a bit.
So far, I'm ok with how I sculpt "chibi" figures. I've made (and started a lot, but never finished) a few normal proportioned people, but I'm not as confident in those.
I hope that you get better with your plushies! :D
