Okay, so I'm *finally* getting up the courage to ask. . . what is the basis behind this meme?

Its been answered so many times before... The meme was started because someone named  krystalcantenjoyhersandwich got banned, because all she was doing was taking a picture, and putting her now signature picture, who she took from  cbee with permission, and putting them on random photographs, with reasons why she couldn't enjoy her sandwich. Needless to say, everyone got pissed because it was so damn funny, so some people made ther own mock avatars in remembrance of her. And this meme is what came to be.


Hey, since we are asking questions, where in the hell did the term "meme" come from?!? Seems like the stupidest name for something used so often.
