Well, sociopaths are generally charming and have a hard time feeling certain emotions as strongly as others. I know a sociopath personally, good friend of mine, everyone likes him and admires him, and he uses that to manipulate for his gain. This guy just acts like he grew up in a box.
I think people like him come into being because they're very jaded by life and take that out on others, as a means of self-validation. They feel that because THEY were victimized, they're justified in victimizing others as an outlet for their feelings. It's basically the "bullying" syndrome. Bullies are created because they, themselves, were/are bullied. They're monsters created by society, in one manner or another.
I, too, am a product of bullying. Hell, I used to BE like Lobosan. And it took hitting just about rock bottom in this fandom for me to crawl my way out from the muck and rebuild myself into a decent human being. The cycle can only be broken by making a choice. The key difference between me and Lobo is I made that choice and he didn't.

Of course. Because rebuilding requires taking responsibility for WHAT you are and WHY you became that way, instead of projecting that blame onto innocent bystanders. It means coming face to face with a LOT of emotionally junk that becomes stuffed deep, deep down into the core of our psyche.

Whether they're typed, hand-written, or spoken, they're STILL words, and they STILL have the power to hurt people. REAL people. We aren't just faceless lines of code--there is a real person sitting behind each and every one of these cute fuzzy little animal avatars on-screen. Trying to dismiss that as being unimportant shows just how damaged his sense of empathy and compassion really is. I took the liberty of reviewing your Code For Ethical Trolling, and in both these instances, you've broken two of your own rules:

It can be just as hurtful an crass as saying "Only a special kind of moron would say something like that" or "You must be some kind of retard to believe that". It's putting words in people's mouths without basis on fact, and making judgments about them that have little or nothing to do with the disagreement at hand, apart from deliberately escalating the situation.
With Riverbreak, you broke Rule 6. What possible malicious harm did their comment honestly do, apart from you not liking it? It was a simple innocent statement and out of some senseless expression of random ire, you just decided to come in there and rip them apart. How is THAT fair? By your own admission, you feel it's only honorable to pick your battles carefully, but what care was given to -this-? It feels like you just shot from the hip, on a whim, not out of a sense of justice. It ceases to be trolling with purpose and delves into the realm of "recreational trolling", because it starts to just look like senseless troll-baiting, for the sole purpose of getting a rise out of someone. So your entire outlook on the whole thing pretty much boils down to "honor is a switch you can flick on and off, depending on if you FEEL like adhering to a code of honor"? Block-evasion is a violation of the FA rules, in case you were unaware of that fact, and is reportable as harassment. The block function was modified to include comments made on other users' submissions and journals to give users the freedom of choice to END conversations they no longer wished to have and to deny users the right to further harass those whom have blocked them because they have no further desire to converse with that individual.
The fact that you deliberately used an alternate account to bypass my block proves that you lack the basic sense of moral decency required to respect that decision, that is completely within my right to make.

For what it's worth, my initial post was meant only to illustrate how trying to spout common knowledge in rder to seem smart makes you look quite the opposite (and everyone I know that read it has agreed that there was no sign of sarcasm in your post). I would have gladly left it there, or even been friendly had you laughed it off and admitted it was a silly thing to post.

Oh and ladies...don't start what you can't finish I've said time and again, I'm happy to accept an honorable surrender or call for ceasefire. Blocking is just a sad, shameful attempt at getting the last word. No honor in that whatsoever, and it only proves you were never fit to lock horns with me in the first place.

Even if belatedly, the source of all this malcontent has now been properly disciplined for his actions. Took awhile for the admins to respond to my ticket, but at least they DID act accordingly, and that's good enough for me.

He wasn't banned, he was suspended. It's difficult to differentiate, tho, as there's no "banned" label anymore. But I was told by the admin that this was an ACTUAL suspension and NOT a ban.

Well, in all fairness, he was pretty belligerent. He even used an alternate account to get around the fact that I blocked him in order to cease all hostile contact. Very, very insistent on maintaining combat. I do feel he WILL offend again, however, so I know his time here on FA will eventually come to an end. People so obsessed with putting people down and arguing don't need to be here, IMO. =/
You're right, it IS more fun! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. Alas, I must depart for a few hours, as I have a rather nasty cold that requires tending and even trolls need breaks to eat and rest. But if you'd like to continue trying to match wits, I gleefully encourage you to re-engage upon my return! You're certainly more fun than I initially expected, and that's something to be valued in an opponent.

You're totally right, I was bullied, beaten, battered and bruised as a child. I come from a broken home where my only meals where the tears of my siblings and linoleum chips on holidays. PLEASE, won't you comfort and coddle me and make the world a better place?
Lol. Pop-psychology and secular humanism don't work on me, matey. Maybe I just think it's really, really fun to watch idiots squirm on my hook. But don't flatter yourself into thinking this is a major investment of my time--ten minutes a day to cajole the stupid is hardly a notable sacrifice.
But do yourself a favor, and don't ever assume you're a thing like me. Because, after all, I'm a TERRIBLE, SOUL CRUSHING, FACE RAEPING MONSTER!!!!
