Yes, taken from the same mold that was made for all the HALO Franchise live action commercials!
For Sale too! Not sure if I want to mold it and mass produce it myself or just make this a one time only auction...

Seems kinda rough.... not movie quality at least, and not completely accurate to the actual pistols seen in the adds or ingame, I refer you to this youtube clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxdvGO1oOF0 go to 1:30 and pause between 1:30 and 1:32 we see the pistols pretty good.
One noticeable detail is these have a hex bolt, not a Phillips head securing the top part of the housing, and these seem to be mostly cast aluminum parts and real rubberized grips, not painted plastic. On your's the paint job is noticeably a bit rough and the top part of the housing looks rough cut.
I say this because you say you may want to mass produce these for sale, if you could precision cut the top housing, find a hex bolt for it and maybe get an airbrush for painting (and use higher quality paint and use a sealer that's abrasion resistant.) you could make this movie quality without much modification.

I see what you mean. However, this was cast from a resin compound and is completely non functional. Any modifications that are done would require me to alter this one of a kind piece. And as for the ding in the top of the housing, ever hear or "combat used"? Any guns used for prolong periods and rigorously will have dings and its metal showing through.
I actually refer to the edges of the upper housing when I say they look a bit rough. Also the edges of the prop overall show wear on the paint, perhaps coloring the resin would solve that issue for future castings? Aluminum powder is readily available and cheap and is what is commonly used for that sort of thing.
