So, it’s the full moon! Hooray!
While those over at Deviantart and my blog are getting a comic update, you guys are getting a quickly done, cartoony Eldritch-related doodle a couple of days before they get to see it. Because, really, I can’t sit by and not post a werewolf if I have one available on the full moon, can I?
So, what would happen if “I” met my webcomic character, Faith?
Well, she sure wouldn’t be very happy with me for all of the terrible stuff I put her through. Truth is, odds are, she and I wouldn’t get along very well at this point in her story. I’d think she’s mean, and she’d think I’m a derp… (which isn’t exactly untrue.)
So… there is is. Um… How about some Folklore?
January may be called Wolf-month and have the Wolf Moon, February is particularly good for lycanthropy. Apparently, lycanthropy is particularly troublesome to men (and women, I presume) during the month of February. You can find mention of this in A Lycanthropy Reader: Werewolves in Western Culture by Charlotte Otten, The Werewolf in Lore and Legend by Montague Summers, and The Book of Werewolves by Sabine Baring-Gould… and probably a couple of others. Forgive me, I’m too lazy to dig through the rest of my books tonight.
I’d write more… but life is super busy, and well, it’s the full moon. I have stuff to do. ;p
