My border collie at 4.5 months in mid-December 2011. His ears have been like that since we got him and still do that at the time of this upload, so it appears that they're going to stay that way. Sometimes, his left will stand up at which point we say "Look! The other ear does work!"

He's a good guard dog. He even knows to run off the stray cats that come around bothering our cats. Also have not seen a raccoon around here in months. Repeated and frequent trouble with coons was the trigger for us getting him. Tuesday morning, when I tried out my new airhorn, he actually came out the door thinking there was a stranger in my driveway
