I keep getting new watchers (hiyas, folks!) so I feel bad I haven't really been able to upload anything. All I've really got right now are scraps, although I've been intending to put this up for awhile, I just keep forgetting...
The concept of a human version of a furry characters fascinates me. And while I know some people resist drawing humans at all costs, when you think about it, a lot of what we find hawt in a human is worked into what we'd consider hawt on a furry. So here's some of the more successful and/or more attractive interpretations of my i.s.o. cast (Cody, Jake, Jeff, Doug, Todd, and Tyrone), taken from the fourth issue. I tried putting comparison shots next to them, although they're a touch small and it was REALLY hard to find matching poses/expressions for everyone.
And undoubtedly you're well aware of my bias towards beefier guys by now, so there's not too much variety among the humanizations here. Nonetheless, whenever possible I try to work SOME parallel features in. Eye size, shape of the bridge of the nose, muzzle/chin size, jawline shape, and of course hairstyle carry over if possible. I really should learn to work in ear size too, but furries look better with big ears than their human equivalents do. So it can be hit and miss, but sometimes I think it works surprisingly well...
(Edit: I doubt anyone'll see it at this point, but this has been updated here:

i absolutely love this..i'm -attempting- to draw comic characters to make a little comic (if i have the time to be dedicated enough to draw full bodies and such)..i have submitted a rough doodle of human characters which will all have furry selves (crap scanner..and i have since made minor changes to the characters..and added a few girls)..but i suck at drawing clothes big time.. -.-
but yeah i just remembered you have furry characters that have human selves..whereas mine would probably mostly stay in human forms..unless during special occasions..-dun dun dun~-
