And thus the second Guild Apprentice of AotA is completed; although I feel his backstory doesn't quite hit the spot. But hey, more fuel for the fires of conflict within the Guild's ranks given his contorversial origins. And conflict is really all the fun of a roleplay; at least in my opinion.

Weight: 127.8lbs (58kg)

Fur/Skin Colour: Standard Lucario fur colouring; albeit with the black bands along his face being somewhat paler.
Eye Colour: Bright Blue
Personality:
Sekhem is a typically selfish and destructive boy; with a terrible temper and a self-centred attitude towards his path in life; longing for the power that his eventual position will offer him. While willing to follow orders Sekhem does not take kindly to being treated condescendingly; and believes his natural powers put him a step above all others; as does his heritage. He generally acts quite coldly towards others despite his fiery temper; typically disinterested in anything apart from pursuing his own perfection. He does, however; have a soft spot for compliments or admiration; a rather obvious flaw given his personality.
While ruthless and chaotic at his worst Sekhem is a true loner; rather lost in what he has been taught whilst younger; and thus having serious trouble interacting with others; especially if he doesn’t get the respect he has been taught to expect. Despite his cold demeanour he is as emotionally conflicted as any other young adult; although he has dealt with the burden of responsibility for far longer than most; and is subconsciously searching for someone who is willing to hear his view of his life; rather than being repelled by his seemingly antagonistic attitude and ignoring the fact that Sekhem is simply following the morals he was taught. He is also in quite the bad state emotionally since he never really gives himself time to rest; constantly pushing his body to its limits; which doesn’t do him much good physically either.
Interests:
Overall Sekhem is striving for power; albeit more in its raw; self-created form rather than power in the form of a leadership position; aiming to achieve physical and mental perfection and become the most powerful being alive in the realms of strength, spirituality and intelligence. While many may dismiss his goals as selfish Sekhem believe that becoming the best you can be is the meaning of life; and thus spends his time relentlessly pursuing such perfection by pouring most of his time into study and physical training.
However, Sekhem is not without his more superficial pursuits; having quite the weak spot for fashion (although technically this is spiritual for him given its importance in Egyptian culture) and happily spending time perfecting his appearance; along with having a definite love of trading card games of all sorts; a fact he is far from ashamed of; believing they are part of his intellectual pursuits despite the childish glee he finds in them.
Biography:
Sekhem originally grew up in the Rasch Desert; part of a small family of bandits who prided themselves on their supposedly noble heritage and their ‘honourable’ refusal to kill those whom they mugged; despite the fact that given the environment most they did steal from were doomed with death regardless. Still, the family held their actions in high regard and it could not be argued that the Hekas did not have the skills to live up to their supposed heritage; managing to essentially spoil their son despite their typically poor environment and lifestyle; bringing him up with a sense of superiority and surrounded with the Egyptian culture the Lucario’s had taken up in order to heed their supposedly noble lineage.
Of course, all good things must come to an end; as the family’s arrogance was finally halted when another gang of bandits; far larger and less subtle or ‘honourable’ in their actions; kidnapped the trio in order to make use of their talents; forcing them into what was essentially slavery. However; as luck would have it they were also promptly targeted by the Guild for their past crimes; and during the ensuing conflict Sekhem took the side of the Guild’s operatives. With his parents having disappeared in the chaos in order to avoid being prosecuted by the Guild the Lucario was taken into custody along with the gang whom had kidnapped him originally.
Infuriated by his treatment despite having aided the organisation Sekhem promptly made several attempts to tear his own way out of the Guild’s hold; leaving its hierarchy astounded by his prowess in leaving them members in tatters. Although his efforts were unsurprisingly unsuccessful, eventually the Guild’s leaders made the decision to take him in as a Guild Master Apprentice in recognition for his natural and learned talents and his rather uniquely ambitious goal of striving for perfection; which would fit the position well.
Much to the organisation’s astonishment the boy simply dropped his grudge against the Guild after the offer; naturally more interested in the pursuit of power than revenge; instead turning his anger towards the gang who had wronged him earlier in his life; its free members having scattered; along with aiming to rediscover his parents; for better or worse. With both members of the Guild frustrated at him having earned his place as apprentice via conflict with the organisation and groups of bandits outraged by his betrayal to the side of order on his tail; Sekhem still continues along his path to supposed perfection; regardless of the dangers his past has brought to him.
Appearance/Clothing:
Sekhem has a fairly slim and lithe physique; even by Lucario standards; although he is still certainly notably muscular. However, other features of his tend to gain more attention; like his zigzagged yet rather neat black hairstyle; split at the front leaving his vision clear whilst the shoulder-length hair frames his face; along with his traditional Egyptian make-up; typically consisting of sharply-painted black eye-shadow.
Sekhem usually wears a pair of rather tight grey trousers, a dark blue sleeveless shirt and a pair of grey skate shoes; although he also often dabbles in more flamboyant or impressive clothing given the chance courtesy of his love of fashion. Regardless of his outfit, though; he is almost always seen with a notable amount of jewellery; stemming from his original culture; typically made up of a pair of golden earrings, an ankh on a necklace, and (when his outfit allows it) a number of golden armbands and bracelets.
Likes: Fashion, Card Games, Showing Off, Being Alone, Being Admired
Dislikes: Being Beaten, Being Interrupted, Slacking, Overbearing People, Rain
Strengths:
Sekhem’s boasting is far from all show; as the boy is immensely powerful for his age; especially in the way of his natural aura; making him a fearsome opponent for anyone his age and beyond simply due to his raw power. His intellect is nothing to scoff at either; long honed from endless study and usage; and his unbreakable determination and passion for reaching perfection is truly intimidating.
Weaknesses:
Despite all his physical and mental capabilities, however; Sekhem is not in good control of his own emotions; being especially prone to losing his temper and in turn his control. His lack of friends also hinders him as even with his abilities there are things he must inevitably rely on others to provide; and his lack of social skills leave him in an even worse position when it comes to dealing with others. Also, he is highly gullible too if one uses admiration or compliments to goad him into doing something; being even more gullible if challenged to anything he prides himself on (pretty much everything).
Moves:
Force Palm: Focusing his natural aura powers into his palms; Sekhem directly transfers kinetic energy into a target; rather than using momentum to achieve the same effect. Given the Lucario’s high prowess with his naturally impressive aura capabilities this move can easily knock foes off their feet and through the air; and turn heavier objects into lethal projectiles; although Sekhem isn’t too good with his aim.
Aura Sphere: The signature move for any Lucario; and one of the few moves Sekhem was taught rather than figuring out through his own studies; having learnt it from his mother at an early age. With a brief moment of focus Sekhem can form basketball-sized balls of blue energy; which he typically uses to simply pepper enemies given that they are not too strong due to their smaller size; and although Sekhem can create larger ones the boy prefers to save energy for his close-range attacks; his natural area of skill.
Close Combat: Like most Lucario Sekhem has some knowledge of martial arts; although due to his distance from any possibility of learning such things from an actual trainer most of Sekhem’s close-quarters fighting style is made up of attacks he made up himself; typically based around peppering foes with minor blows before following up with a heavy attack on the distracted enemy to finish them or force them back.
Extreme Speed: Unsurprisingly this move was something of a signature of Sekhem’s family of thieves; who used their agility to essentially blitzkrieg their victims into submission before taking what they wanted and leaving at a similarly impressive pace. With this move Sekhem can move at unnaturally fast speeds; although they are as fast as they are uncontrollable; particularly seeing as Sekhem prefers to use his notable durability to intimidate enemies before closing the gap with them; making the most of the time it takes to cover the distance at a regular pace.
Calm Mind: As per Sekhem’s valuing of his spiritual and mental prowess he is not against taking time to prepare his mind and soul for awaiting challenges; to simply meditate. However, this is far from rest for the boy; essentially just acting as preparation for further strain rather than a true break from it; honing his senses and body in readiness to take on his next obstacle.
Earthquake: The first of Sekhem’s oddly earth-based moves that are supposedly proof of his heritage that he learnt on his own accord; with this move Sekhem essentially uses Force Palm on the ground itself; forming a shockwave of kinetic force; seeing as actually managing to move the earth beneath him is something of a rarity.
Stone Edge: With a brief moment of focus Sekhem uses his spiritual connection with the earth to uproot rock from the ground before using his kinetic aura powers to send them at foes as improvised missiles. Should there be no ground to work with, though; he can conjure stone; albeit with quite a bit more effort; and he can manoeuvre the rocks in other ways in a way akin to telekinesis; although he is typically quite poor at this.
Strength: Once again using his aura powers to aid him; Sekhem can summon his aura-based energies to reinforce his muscles and essentially give him temporary super strength; for as long as his reserves of aura power hold out.
Rock Tomb: Like with Stone Edge with this move Sekhem lifts slabs of stone into the air via pseudo-telekinesis; albeit this time using them to surround foes and crush them or suffocate them with prolonged force. While this move is certainly devastating, not to mention terrifying; it requires prolonged attention from Sekhem to be properly pulled off.
Toxic: A curious move given Sekhem’s primarily earth-based fighting style; with this move Sekhem secretes a colourless toxic fluid from glands beneath his hand-based steel spikes; positioned like this in order for him to be able to make an incision with the spike and then allow the toxins to enter his victim’s bloodstream. The toxins themselves lack to potential to be fatal; but cause enough simulated physical strain via affecting the victim’s nerves to force a lapse into unconsciousness or at least paralysis given enough time.
Dark Pulse: Bringing his full reserves of aura power to bear; Sekhem’s Dark Pulse forms a sphere of burning negative energies around him; which he can then fire outwards as an expanding dome in a powerful but exhausting attack; generally leaving the boy with little to no aura energy to work with until he has rested properly.
Final Gambit: Although a strenuous and technically inefficient process, Sekhem can convert his stored chemical energy immediately into aura energy; and with this move he makes the most of this ability; converting as much energy as he can into aura (without immediately collapsing into unconsciousness, mind you) in order to make an all-or-nothing attack; a super-charged Force Palm usually leaving him with only seconds before he falls into unconsciousness.
