Mhm. I have a titanium ring that I did in Alligator back. Just got a ring sizer so I can finally sell the buggers. Just been so busy with life that I haven't done anything about it lately XD. Have you looked into half persian 4-in-1, Jens Pind, Byzantine, or 4 winds? All are nice weaves that might work well for rings.
Yeah... Depending on the metal the AR's will change very slightly. I have some titanium that I thought would turn out as 3.0 AR and it's actually like 3.3 so I can't do the weave I want to do with it. You'll find another weave to use it in though. If you haven't already found it, look up Mailleartisans.org. They have tons of weaves.
^_^ I'm glad you found me! And usually there is an exact AR of the ring under the label somewhere on TRL's page. Sometimes there isn't... but for the major rings there will be one. On the AA it's in the upper left hand corner in yellow, right under the grey header that gives the wire size and price. Hope that helps ^_^
