Because this has gotten a few chuckles, I figure it won't hurt to share it. Like many artists, I'm incredibly self critical of my work and I really don't see the same value/worth/skill in my art that other people see.

So whenever I begrudgingly come to terms with the notion that I might be more capable than I give myself credit for, I jokingly set out and dig the hole in whih I keep m y ego/sense of self worth and the like in, deeper. So they can't get out.

I'm told it would be healthy to let something show. So you get my ears. AND NOTHING MORE.
