I think that Jack & Grunt would be a pair to be reckoned with... I can just see Grunt having this unrequited feelings for Jack but cannot admit it to himself & especially others.

Grunt buries it deep, harnessing it in his battle... then as he sees Jack lying on the battlefields...Reapers surrounding them with no chance of escape, he takes her in his arms... She smiles in her bloody gasps... and tells him, that she was brought to this world alone & will leave this bloody world alone, but Grunt caresses her face softly... Smiling, "Your not going to the void alone... I am going with you... & I am taking a whole battlefield of REAPERS with us" She gazes into his eyes & sadly softens... realization dawning on her. He kisses her softly, she tries to protest, trying to get him to escape but he hushes her with his final words, "I see your face in every flame... With no answers I have only myself to blame. Of all the women that I have known. They're not you... I'd rather be alone." & holds her tight, as she nestles in comfort in his massive arms. He smiles just as her ragged breath hitches, he presses the charge.

A blinding lights sets off... taking the of Reapers & and a Collector Ship in it's wake. Then silence as a large mushroom cloud rises in the air...
