I wanted to make a pony for a while and I was going to make Pinkie Pie but I had this idea and it just wouldn't go away, and so Loki it was.


NOTE PLEASE BEFORE YOU ASK 'HOW MUCH?': LOKI IS NOT FOR SALE. Loki is my pony and I won't be parting with him under any circumstances. HOWEVER. Because of the interest he generated wherever he went since I made him, I have been convinced to consider making ONE OTHER to put up on eBay. If there's enough interest, I'll do just that, but only if I think there's enough interest, since the costume was a pain and he was actually quite expensive to make compared to pretty much every other plush I've made before.





Getting good clear references for the shoulder guard and arm guard designs was a PITA but I managed. The whole outfit comes apart and the head is jointed. Also the photos blew out and made him look bright white, but he's actually a more pale cream/ivory colour. His costume is suede :3 He's also really big.

The pattern and design are my own, and I made the embroidery files too. This was my first time using an embroidery machine. My mum recently bought one for her business and agreed to let me use it to make ponies so that I could pay for my school textbooks.



On that note, since I know it's going to come up and it came up a looooot at the con, at the moment, I just don't feel it's in my best interests stress-wise to accept pony commissions. I've been very unwell for a while because of a serious stress-related issue, which I'm still struggling to get over, hence why some of you might have noticed I haven't really been around. I'll be making (non-Loki XD) premades for ebay though (and taking suggestions for what premades to make for sale, though I won't be promising toys to individual people), since there's no pressure there. Don't wander away disappointed though. This is an 'at this current point in time' PSA and I may take commissions in the future. Just not right now.

Anyway I keep getting hassled to put these photos up since the weekend, which was Supanova here in Sydney, which Loki came along to (I dunno if you can tell that he's been a bit 'handled' in the photos haha. He got very loved-on at the con and tbh I'm actually surprised that he came home pretty much spotless). Everyone thought Loki had best cosplay. Pity he's a plush pony and couldn't enter the cosplay competition XD



Sorry about the huge-ass file. I'm really pressed for time and haven't really got any to spare atm to be putting files together so I wasn't able to fiddle around with the file size/compression ratio like I normally would. Also sorry if it's a bit blown out. I had to use a camera I'm not familiar with because my 300D doesn't currently have a working battery so the photos suck a bit. I have two other non-pony plushies to upload but that's not gonna happen for a bit yet XD
