I was setting off to draw some lonely I'm single sad days bullshit, but then this came out. I dunno what that really means.
Someone should show me good tutorials for getting those fancy textures some people seem to use with the brushes or something. I think I am really dumb and can't figure it out.

Oh, textures? Just grab a huge brush, or even scan something with a texture you like, throw it on a layer over whatt you want to texture, Lower opacity, Done! There's also things you can try with layer masks or clipping layers. I never knew it was this easy for the longest time myself. I just need to actually art more in general.

I usually do that in photoshop :O I have a big file of textures I pull from, sometimes... but I have seen people use these painty textures and stuff, (mostly people like muttmonster) and I am pretty sure they're doing it in Sai, not photoshop... so I am wondering how they do that exactly :O

Oh! Yeah I am familiar with brushes in photoshop, at least as far as editing their properties in the basic ways. And I usually use scanned textures to overlay on a different layer. I am mostly wondering about Sai, and if you can do similar things in Sai, especially with the brushes, cuz I don't really know MUCH about the brushes in Sai :O

I love this! Also, have you tried blur's brush set? http://www.cgsociety.org/index.php/...../tower_of_evil
If not, definitely check them out, as he has a lot that "evolve" as you make strokes with them, have different effects when used as dodge/screen, and has some made just for the blur tool that actually look REALLY good!

You are claiming to be lonely? Gurl I may be one of many say this but your too damn RAD to be lonely, But being single isn't all that bad. Having alot of free time is better than being tied in a monotonous or hurtful relationship. In time you will find some that is worthy of your time or maybe some will find you. :D Keep ya head up Airu! Your too cool and tough to be sad. Now head out there with a smile, who knows what you're missing out on.
