Because drawing a second life avatar is better than drawing nothing at all I present you with this. Enjoy some my little pony, lol. Hopefully I can continue feeling motivated to pick up a pencil because I really would like to try drawing more.

Some time I might try to get you into an Open Canvas session or something, and we can doodle a bit there. Mostly, I think you would benefit from seeing how the art is constructed, rather than having to worry about drawing lines entirely free-hand. Using shapes underneath, then your lines, then inking over those lines, is a good method for folks who are learning, but it does take a bit longer!
She doesn't like Ponies. She just likes her friends MORE than she doesn't like ponies. :3 Ultimately, you becoming an artist is not "specifically" pony based. It's an adventure all its own, and Ithy has watched me over the past six years or so. She knows how much work goes into even getting where you already are with drawing, so she has every reason to be genuine about her encouragement. :3
