Well with all the Collective Tech I've been drawing lately, how about an addition for the humans?
(ALSO: If you guys wanna see the Clean version without all the words, here's that: http://sta.sh/01f772r4gu6p )
The UNMD Noble Class Battleship is an example of what a violent war can result when doing last minute plans. Everything about this ship has been made big in order to make a stand against the Collective...and it's working.
After the loss of the United Nations Military Division Moon Base and the entire moon itself, the UNMD had a choice, either let the Collective push through Earth and possibly onto other human colonies, or try and push back. The response was the Noble Class Battleship, one of the few ship designs of the UNMD that didn't come from retrofitting tough freighters and colony ships.
The Noble is an intensely powerful war vessel capable of turning the tide in any battle, armed to the teeth with anti-ship weaponry, sporting a compliment of 15 fighters and 10 bombers, and lined with the heaviest yet toughest armor available, the Noble is a gigantic vessel capable of soaking up damage and returning it twice as hard.
Of course the size and power always has a price, the ship isn't incredibly fast at sub-light speeds, and all that armor and weaponry has a very high price. Thankfully with the war raging and the people more concerned about fighting off a very dangerous enemy, they have been more than happy to give up their home television for the sight of another Noble class being built in Earth's orbital shipyards.
Currently there are about 15 of these monsters, and most if not all of them travel in large fleets. Every single one has been scarred from battle, but the construction of these behemoths has bought Earth valuable time against the Collective, and now they have been pushed back a considerable distance.
A Noble class can chew its way through ammo rather quickly, and despite its size, it's not very roomy. The vessel carries a load of about 20 massive fusion core anti-ship missiles on each side, and it has enough MAC rounds to turn a Collective cruiser into swiss cheese. The 10 remote controlled Flak Cannons can put the hurt on fighters, and when all else fails, Noble Captains have been known to literally ram Collective ships, it's heavy armor more than a match for the lightweight polymers that the Collective have opted for to save weight.
The Noble Class Battleship is purely a warship, its cargo bays usually only hold ammo and food stores for the crew, but it has been known to execute humanitarian missions with other UNMD ships in order to assist colonies under attack. Over time even the Collective began taking note of these powerful vessels, and in time they could develop a weapon that could make the Noble fear for its life.
