An experiment with paper and paint. Not exactly successful but I did learn some stuff. This is acrylic on a piece of pressed bark paper. Sorta like papyrus but much harder to paint on. And since papyrus is hard to begin with.... And then to top if off I tried out some new metallic gold paint I got. It is really, really metallic which doesn't scan well unfortunately. It comes in a powder form and you mix it up matt medium and paint. It did not like this paper! But I do love the paint itself and look forward to trying it out on a more stable surface.
