Well, I wasn't totally happy with the other head design, so rather than fur it
I MADE A NEW ONE ^^
I think this pup looks even more toony, and the shape is so cute!
Next step is to fur this cutie, then sell it ^^.
Critisizem is much appreciated!!! Not bad for a sheps 3rd time eh?
BTW: The black stuck on his ear is just felt, glued down in a way to reinforce this pups bent ear look
The nose is squishy rubber/vinyl and will look even sexier when the fur is butted up agaisnt it and a felt trim layed over the rough edges.
I am aware that the eyes are mirrored images ^^ *DERP*

Think in terms of soft edges and contours. Look at animals, there are no "hard" edges on them.
What you have here, while very clean, is very angular. Most likely a bit of that will be covered by the fur, but it wiuld look softer and more organic without the hard edges.
What do I know?

The only foam base that I MIGHT sell right now would be the first one I made, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8585400/ ,
Im not one that really takes commissions. I enjoy making them for myself then selling the finished product as a full suit

I think this one looks a lot better. It's a lot more organic than the other one, but there's still a lot of "boxiness" and angular edges that bug me personally. It's all up to your individual style but I personally prefer round edges.
Mostly, it's the top of the head, and the back of the cheeks.

I noticed a lot of people mentioning "not organic in shape" or "boxy-ness" BUT being a suit maker myself, I think leaving those harsh edges will help to make different aspects of the head stand out.
I find rounding off every corner makes a head look more feline like than canine like. Take a look at tigers, they have rounded heads, rounded ears, rounded shorter muzzles, look at a wolf and you have a flat stop (where the nose meets the head between the eyes) flat top of muzzle, flat top to head, and pointed cheek tufts never mind the pointed ears! So I think this guy will look very nice once furred.
Also, when drawing art you always be sure to connect straight lines with curved ones, and you did this really well here! Random red line here to show what I'm talking about: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/55607506/r.....lue%20line.jpg By using straight edges and curves your helping with dynamic shape and it encourages the eye of the viewer to move about the image easier.
What colors are you going to go with for this guy? Or is it a surprise!

So....... Im an artist and I didnt even know it
Thanks so much for your kind words Kitty! It means alot to hear this coming from someone with much more experience than me ^^
As for fur colors, I was going to use Promo Shag White and Grey, THe white will be around the front half of the face, then transissioning into grey.
THe neck line is the msot important, as the white and grey need to come together just before the front top of the shoulder as the fursuit body has a white chest.
I might have my watchers sketch up different fur designes for this head to which i will choose one ^^.
Thanks again Kitty!!!

I think it looks phenomenal, the unique carved shape, the adorably toony look and the bent ear really create a great character here. I greatly look forward to it being furred. My only question is, will he have any teeth or eyebrows? Not that they're necessary at all, just curious.
Otherwise, fantastic job dude!
