Cobalt reaches his arms around Ruu and pulls him tight to his chest.
*thumpthump, thumpthump, thumpthump*
The soothing sound of Cobalt's heartbeat begins to drown out the chaos of the storm. Ruu reaches a hand up to Cobalt's silver locket as the memories of their first meeting replay in his head. He closes his eyes and quickly drifts off to a peaceful sleep.

"Don't be scared. Big brother's here", Cobalt whispers under his breathe. He smiles contently as he caresses the two most cherished things in the world to him close to his heart. He he pulls the bed covers back over them and joins Ruu in peaceful slumber.
