like..there ARE things i like about the newer one
like you seem to have a better grasp of anatomy, facial structure a you've developed a bit more of your own style and its not as anime-ish
but i do rather like the one without all the hard outlining and such, it looks more whispy-er, and whimsical.
and the older one seems to have far more texture and gradients of shading making it look more dimmentional

Simply to me a little bitterly to hear something similar provided that separately old drawing has caused the EXTREMELY negative reaction of people.
And similar comments to my work in which I tried to correct mistakes and to improve drawing for me looks simply a sneer. But from where you could know about it? So I have no reasons on you becomes angry.
I am simply a little grieved.

sometimes, our art grows in some ways while other aspects slip behind when we dont realize
i was the same way with eyes and face structure. i was improving my anatomy so much i started getting lazy with the things i was already good at. and it took me sifting through my older stuff to realize "wow..i was actualy BETTER at doing that 4 years ago. i need to step up my game and go back to basics"
and now, im still trying to do eyes and faces better. art for sure is not a singular ability that grows. it is hundreds of little talents all that grow at their own rate, and can wither if not tended to. like a garden of flowers..gotta water dem all!
i have a bad habit of only watering half...>w>
so its not that you arent growing,
