Just an ok pic of my retro game collection so far. You can't really see any of the game's names, but whatever. I'm hoping to grow my collection a lot more than this, but the pawn shops/ thrift stores have been pretty dry the last few months and garage sales are pretty much over for the year. There was a actually a Conker game for GB/GBC (black backwards compatible cart), it was called "Conker's Pocket Tales".
But it was based on the original conker concept, so it's very cutesy and happy.
It came out about 2 years before the N64 game. He also stared in Diddy Kong Racing if you didn't know that already.

Since when is MM2 and 3 considered "rare"? c:
I'd even say those unlicensed NES carts are more rare.
Nice collection, got a decent amount of NES games there and some other great systems (dreamcast and saturn, mmmm).
I must ask, Sweet Home, I can't really determine from the picture, do you have a repro or famicom copy?

I guess the megaman games just fetch a decent price. And I have the repro copy of it. I haven't bought any imports because I don't have a 72-pin converter yet. I'm looking for a repro cart of Mr. Gimmick for the nes now. It looks amazing. Also, I just added a complete copy of Lunar 2 last night and a copy of final fantasy 3 today :D
I've played the original NES copy of gimmick a few times (scandinavia, whoop), but I haven't really payed up for a copy of my own yet.
It's so darn expensive, but it shows up way often on the swedish equivilant of eBay (Tradera), so once I can afford it there's definitely one up for sale more or less.
But I've picked up other rather rare games like Noah's Ark (konami one), Panic Restaurant and Little Samson :)
All of them are really decent platformers, love them to bits.
Do you mean FF3 (famicom) or FF3(SNES ,aka FF6) ? c:

Yeah I've seen them, you lucky bastards have games floating all over flea markets and second hand shops it seems :P
I've only bumped into retro games in one second hand store out of all places in this city.
And it's still rare to find there, mostly mediocre NES titles like GOLF or NES OPEN.
And they take take pretty high prices ($35 for GOLF).
So most of my games are bought through auction sites or forums.
