it shouldn't be! the fur int he photo had kind of a marbled quality to it i guess? like the tips were sometimes darker than the body. the fur i get next time may be lighter or darker, depending on what's in stock. if what's there doesn't feel/look nice i'll let you know and we can poke around fabric websites for a replacement.
