Makes sense. Especially considering how with furries species seems more like hair color than it does... well, species. Plus from my understanding it's how Mr. timekitsune up there tends to play it, so yeah, that's probably how it works for this one as well. Unless otters regenerate differently, but I'm not sure if that's been tested.
