I like it - great colour, particle effects and contrast. Nice edge lining too.
As a critique, I don't like how the character outline is barely visible. I think it disrupts the subtle boundary between the character and the background by distracting the viewer. Similarly, the fire "glow" effect is effective but too uniform. Firelight needs dimension, and variation in the glow effect can imply a lot of depth.
