I don't know why I make these

I'm mentally exhausted at this point, granted I don't think anyone will read or care if I hadn't ran them off. I thought I had made a good fursona, a spider monkey taur train. And when I showed him to a few, lord and behold they don't like him, because monkeys are too close to being fucking humans.....I fucking give up on trying to fit into this forsaken community.
I'm out of ideas, I'm out of strength. Fuck I'm out of everything. Is it my fault my fursona, am I trying to impress to many fucking people or something. The logic around furries I've ran into about what's anthro and what isn't is beyond me.
Granted no one will see this, just trying to get this off my chest. Furry fandom, why are most of you guys so weird or picky on what's anthro and what isn't?

it's just how they view things. Like most don't like naga/lamia because of that reason. They aren't anthro and are considered more scalie than anthromorphic.

Well... I can't imagine how a fursona is supposed to "impress" someone--I mean maybe that's my misreading, but it seems you want some help. Before I get too far addressing the wrong thing, though, is there a question or two you'd like answered before others?
