not dead (just on hiatus)

When I made this FA account 4 or 5 years ago, it was with the intention of being more active in the fandom under the name I use when I write general fantasy and SF.
However, you know what they say about the road to Hell and what it's paved with and etc. Long-winded explanation short: the (furry) project that I had expected at the time would soon become my main focus... did not, and then I got a bad injury, and then by the time I went through physical therapy and was mostly healed from it, the pandemic came, and then the lockdowns came, and then a mental health meltdown came, and then my mother passed away and my whole family had to deal with the fallout from that, and... there were a lot of derail-y, Life Happening events, and with one thing and another, I wound up going on hiatus from not only furry fandom participation but also writing anything, at all, period.
I'm only now starting to come back to it. I can't say that I'll be aggressively active on here anytime soon, but I haven't forgotten this account and may fully come back yet.
