Update on Commissions & Life Junk

Thought I'd post a journal to let everyone and especially my current commissioners know what's been up.
I'm so sorry it's been a while since I posted any updates. I've been wanting to get back to working on commissions but I've been constantly juggling so much shit these days... I've started taking classes on Computer Science/Coding and Software QA and that has been eating up a LOT of my time and energy. Constantly got to study for shit and work on assignments and guuuuuh... I really wasn't planning on going back to college AT ALL. I was hoping it would be a one and done sorta deal after I graduated in 2017 but... many people told me I needed to study for a back-up career while the current situation with the animation/entertainment industry is happening. Plus I have this ongoing freelance illustration gig I had to do on the side.
On the bright side, at least it's keeping me distracted and I'm no longer as depressed as I was back in August when I was looking for a job.
Speaking of, still not much luck landing a job other than an art instructor for a drawing class for adults happening once a week for 2 hours only (which is ABSOLUTELY STRESSFUL as I've never taught anyone before!). I've landed only a handful of interviews, mostly for non-artistic/retail positions and all of them resulted in a rejection letter. Soooo yeah... life still kinda sucks rn. <:T
But like I said, I am doing a lot better. I've been going to all sorts of meetups/networking events for animation and also a convention recently where I managed to meet and chat with new people and take my mind off from all the shit going on.
Still just very burnt out from all the stuff I gotta juggle. I wish I could work for hours on end without getting tired but... if anyone has any ideas on how to counter-act that shit, lemme know!
Again, to all my current commissioners, I'm so sorry it's taking me a while to get updates to you since I've sent you all the rough sketches. I don't wanna make you guys wait so long, as I know how that feels. I'll TRY to get some progress done on them when I have nothing going on and keep you guys posted.
