I saw some furries skating today.

General
Recently, I read up that the Lynnwood Bowl and Skate has a monthly furmeet called "Furs On Wheels" that normally lasts from 12:00PM-2:00PM, and while I did not join in, I did walk today down there, partly just to see them, and partly because I haven't gone bowling in years. I didn't make it there until after 2:00PM, so didn't actually go bowling (because on weekends after 2:00PM, you have to rent the lanes for $45.00 per hour, and I didn't want to pay that much for just me alone), and I think most of the furries were gone by that point, but with the few that were left by the time I got there, it was still cool to see. Next month, I need to make sure not to stay up so late the night before.

Interesting. Such a public appearance is unheard of in other countries.

OP
Why are furmeets like this unheard of in other countries? What's stopping them from meeting up in public?

It's not as big a community as it is in America.
