Not a whole lot of 'interesting' things going on here, but having a mostly 'boring' month isn't always a bad thing, imo. Sometimes, just being able to relax is worth it. That said, I *did* start a new D&D campaign with some friends this past weekend, so that will be interesting. Its my first time playing. I have watched people play (like Dimension20 from Dropout, they are amazing) and played a D&D based game, Baldurs Gate 3, but never actually the real thing until now. First session was alot of fun.

Also, acquired a VR headset, so I have been playing beatsaber, which is enjoyable, and has been helping with my activity level (I have been very lazy recently)

One thing I really want to do this coming month, is get back to work on my story. I have neglected it these last couple months, and I think its time to get back to it xD Between that, and some travelling we are planning on, this should be a little busier of a month

June wasn’t too eventful for me which is a good thing, I started buying cherry’s again which were delicious! ❤️ I have ordered a lot of commissions from a certain wonderful artist and I’m trying to decide what to order for July. I’m planing to see the new Jurassic world movie with my brother week!

I feel like I haven't gotten up to too much lately! Maybe that's for the best haha. I've been making a lot of bracelets recently for friends and myself, and that's been fun, although now I'm thinking I just need to open a store or something because I have too many beads and things lying around. Mostly I'm playing Pokemon Scarlet again now that the Switch 2 hardware makes the game actually work, so that's been fun!

Mostly I'm hoping for good fortune at my job still. Being a contract worker is tough haha. Pray for me that they keep me on after it expires at the end of this month!! <3

I've been alright though stressed on planning a surprise for my lady. Who would've imagine finding the perfect private place would be this stressful... Then bit of work stress but it has gone down from what had been in the past months.

Not much heat over in Mexico, we actually been getting a lot of rain but that has caused some floodings and cool weather. I fortunately work from home so I don't have to deal with the terrible traffic and public transport issues, and get to somewhat enjoy the rain :)

It is quite upsetting seeing it - unfortunately, such is the way when they get older :(

I'm sorry to hear you're having a stressful time with organising a surprise for your lady-friend, I'm sure whatever you're planning they will love it! 🥰

We get a lot of flooding here too - I'm surprised at how warm it's been this year, last year it rained almost non-stop. But working from home does give you the pleasure of watching and enjoying the rain from inside 🥰💕

After i talked with a friend i feel way less stressed and with a better idea of how to do it :3 it will be a big step for both of us and i was just cracking my head wanting it to be absolutely perfect.

That’s good that you’re taking good care of your doggo. My parents’ dogs love ice cubes, just in general, not really to dodge heatstroke; I hope that helps them stay cool.

June has been busy for me too, but also fun! Making great progress in job stuff, working on some new art projects (including cosplay and EVA foam), and I got to travel a bit, which is always great. Trying to take care of myself as usual, but also know when to push myself, know what I mean? I’m always looking for balance.
It has been HOT here. Finally got some good rain today, to my plants’ delight. Even got some blackberries to make into a cookie frosting, which was great.
Your art and ideas always inspire me, and since I’m doing ArtFight again this year, I hope I can apply what I’ve learned and come up with.

Thanks for always writing these journals! It’s becoming a highlight of the new month for me!

My month has been... well it has certainly been a month, hah! My mental health isn't great at the moment, which is why I haven't "been around" lately; however! I rescued a squirrel near the start of the month. I saw it laying on the grass in my garden, moving funny and went to check on it. It didn't even attempt to run away from me, and when I tested grounds on petting it didn't really do anything.
So I picked the adorable little squiggle (yes, squiggle) up and took it inside fully expecting it to pass away. Luckily I still had my large cage from when I had ratties, so I put it in there with blankets and covered the cage with a duvet to keep it nice and dark, leaving it to peacefully pass on. But, the next day it was still alive and then suddenly in the afternoon it was active as hell, climbing around the cage. I saw blood on its stomach during it so I assume it got injured there somehow and just needed a day to recover. I fed it some apple and took it back outside once I made sure it was really okay. I still throw out some apples for it daily, and I do see it! Though it doesn't come near me, how rude!

Sorry; totally long story but it made me incredibly happy to host it and be able to release it after a day and half.
Animals are amazing for our mental health.

I love helping animals we find too, we live in the country side so we get quite a few of them, had a hedgehog, a mole and a starling last year, it was insane!

We're never prepared for our animals to leave, even when we're technically prepared for it. I hope that days comes later rather than sooner for you!
Like I have two cats, they're only 3-years-old right now and I'm already thinking about them leaving me. DO NOT WANT!

My dream is to more to the country side! I live in Scotland so I wanna move near the highlands, get away from the city.

Ah-wow! You live in Scotland, that's so cool! I love Scotland, I've only been there a couple times on holiday, we used to stay in a cabin by the Lock Tay. I haven't been in years though. I couldn't go back to the city after living in the country, I adore it so much! 🥰

Moles are the cutest little things! I adore them! We get all kinds of animals in and out of the village and I love seeing them all 🥰
