So I was looking through my favourites for something /someone and decided to look at images that I faved and found I can't anymore.
I tried clicking on the image but each time a message saying the account was closed and it's contents were unavailable unless I was the account owner

I think this is absolutely horrendous as I don't see why we can't see the pictures if the person has closed their account or accounts and they are viewable upon seeing them.

Imagine you upload a image you've gotten from an artist , you've linked the original piece in your description and now you can't even see that image because the artist has closed their account.
It's truly appalling

If the artist wishes to close their account but leave their art on this site we should be allowed to view it and fave it
