Offering Proofreading Services
I wanna try officiating something since I’ve noticed I’ve been doing it quite a bit lately. As it says in the header, I’m now offering my services to proofread/beta read/edit written works.
If you’re interested in me reading your work and giving feedback on its story, typographical, and grammatical elements, please contact me via note on FA or via email at averagefanenjoyer[at]proton.me with a copy of your work. Ideally this would be in a word processor file or easily-downloadable format, as I read, edit, and return my marked-up manuscripts in LibreOffice using the .ODT or .DOCX file formats.
Moreover, this service is absolutely pro bono. (That’s fancy lawyer speak for “free.”) No obligations to nor compensation for my work is required—I want to put forward my best effort to fix the many issues I see in published and amateur writings alike, and this is how I intend to accomplish it. My services will remain this way indefinitely (or at least until demand pushes me to consider turning this into an actual gig), so keep this offer in the back of your mind if you or an acquaintance of yours is considering writing or is currently writing a story of some sort.
