What a movie! Avatar Fire and Ash (soft spoilers)

Soo, blessed being in Europe, we got the movie today already and a local cinema showed it immediately at 0:01 AM (or, well, after 20 minutes of ads and a teaser for Doomsday xD ).
So I had to see it >w< (and now on the way home)
Cameron didn't lie, this was the most epic one of the triology!
Several things I assumed myself - like Kiri and Spider becoming a couple (that handholding at the end of Way of Water was clear, lol) were confirmed. Also Kiri's origins.
And so has "that" Quaritch meme xD
As expected, the hunter got a robotic arm..
One more thing I always wondered: What if a Na'vi connected to another Na'vi does what they normally do when riding a creature?
Boy did Varang deliver on that.. and so did a certain other someone <:
Of course Neytiri went on multiple rampages again and there were a number of very conflicting moments.
All in all a breathtaking movie. Even if not in the very literal sense. A few breathholding scenes but probably nothing that wilp excite us in the aquatic community as much as Way of Water.
The new aquatic creatures however were exciting and reminded me a lot of Subnautica Below Zero! I maaay make a new semi-feral OC some day owo
Speaking of animals.. I feel worse for the Ikrans than for the Tulkuns. As glorious as they are, the Tulkuns, they do little to change their increasingly dire situation until it's almost too late.
The Ikrans on the other hand are in the fights from the very first movie.. and are dying from bullets, from arrows and now even from fire left and right >:
Poor things...
Also poor wind traders clan. Wish we had seen more of them or actually have a member join the group or something.
The one set of rumors that did not get confirmed however was regarding the ending.
With Cameron saying this movie will serve as a closure if it becomes financially unviable to continue, I expected more closure than we got. It's kinda like with the 2nd movie.
That said, it is all in all a rather believable movie. Maybe perhaps except one escape scene.
Unsurprisingly the kids got caught once more (or multiple times even) but was way less of a weird coincidence like in Way of Water.
Didn't feel taken out of the immersion at any point.
Regarding immersion, if you can, go for an IMAX! Those are really the best! For the first time for me the 3D and overall visual quality was almost too much, making me nauseous for a couple seconds on a few occasions.
Just makes the movie more remarkable though ^_^
Well, so, enough burbled - go watch the movie! =3
And/or see what I'll post in my galleries in the coming days because there are several pieces queued~

Can't say I loved it a huge amount (definitely less so than Zootopia 2), but it was a good watch! Lots of action, the fire tribe was a more interesting addition than I expected, and the Tulkun did return as promised! I don't think I would've gone to watch it otherwise lol. I guess I don't feel cheated by the final product either, maybe because we weren't promised a lot of Tulkun. But damn, Ta'nok deserved better than the screentime she got! Outside of one badass scene, she was pretty much just a plot device without much in the way of a personality.
