Well...

Hey guys, I know this is probably annoying... I'm back here. I... I don't know. I guess I had a momentary lapse of identity for the last six months or whatever. As such, I'll be back on
sakuramerquise to post my art, my journals, etc. I apologize for the back and forth bullshit of having multiple accounts, and any annoyance that has caused.
With that said, I'll probably keep my Harley account up just to have on hand. For what, I'm not exactly sure, but the character and persona surrounding Harley is definitely a part of me, as much as Sakky is.
I suppose the main reason I up and abandoned Sakky (the chubby stripey thing I draw sometimes) was because of her connections to a group that I am no longer associated with. I got tired of the questions and drama and nonsense, and wanted a fresh start.
Enter Harley Kozlov, my new SL account and character, likely representing my snarkier and less forgiving side. She seemed like a good escape and a place to start over. In doing so, I kind of abandoned an identity that's been a part of me for a long time now. I've been using this username for almost ten years now, and honestly, having come to my senses, I don't see any reason to abandon it.
So if you know me as Harley, Sakky, or simply as Kat: I'm here, and not planning on going anywhere.
While I'll still be drawing Sakky and finally posting art of Harley, multiple influences have led me to create a new incarnation of an old concept I drew a while back. Her name is Soda, and while the previous version was a generic dog of undetermined breed (presumably a mutt), I'm re-developing her as a freckled and spunky pudgy pomeranian, to reflect my excitable and outgoing nature.
I look forward to working on this new character and bringing new art of her to life for your entertainment.
I have a few outstanding commissions at the moment that I have lost my previous work on, as they were being drawn digitally and saved on a hard drive that is currently inaccessible. If you are waiting on art from me (no matter how old), please send me a note, and we will work something out.
I am currently unemployed and seeking work. If you would like to commission me (or donate), any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Commissioners with commissions yet to be fulfilled will receive top priority and have their orders filled first, provided they contact me about said commissions. Donations and payments can be made to sakuramerquise [AT] yahoo [DOT] com.
If you have any other issues or questions for me, I am checking my notes regularly, as I am on a stable (if vastly unimpressive) computer at this time.
To answer the folks who have been asking me about conventions... I have no intention of making any plans to attend a convention until I have a job and am able to put money away for such things, instead of just barely affording them. I miss you guys, and I miss conventions, but the responsibilities at home come first. I'll take a vacation and go to a con when I can afford to do things like eat and pay bills and still put money away.
I'm going to stop yammering on now. I love you guys, and I'm sorry I've been so wishy-washy the last six months or so. I've gone through a lot of life changes, most of them for the better.
I'm 23, and I'm still finding myself. And I've got no shame admitting that.

Man, I know we're not the only ones who go through crap like this. I just feel really silly for making such a big deal out of it, it was rather juvenile. We all make mistakes, though.
