I'm scared.

            Bah. i look over my favorite artists' work and they have have distinct styles they've made their own. I don't see mine. I'm kinda worried that all my style is, is just a compiled version of people i admire. I'm starting to fear that i've no originality. That i don't have a road.(hah, airgear). I give myself 3 years before i can finally decide if i've mastered any part of my style. So far, i don't think i have. For some reason this hasn't really been that important until recently. I want my style to be recognizable. i'm a big fish in a little pond, but i'm the smallest fish in the big pond. That's how i can explain it.
Lol you read this!............... thanks =)

I mean, my own style has been pretty constant for the past few years, but at first it was just compiled from things I like. But I think that's how it has to evolve, you know? Just look at lots of art you personally like (and reference photos, too, if you want to have a more realistic style), and...eventually you'll soak up the things you like about those styles, and trim out the things you don't, and end up with your own unique style. It's a process that does take time, though, so don't expect yourself to end up with a completely original style overnight. And even once you do have something that's recognizably yours, there are always going to be artists who either influence your style or happen to have one that's very similar to your own. Some people just stylize things the same way, and you really can't help that. XD;
...This is all coming from the perspective of someone who doesn't know you or your art, but...I glanced around your gallery, and you seem to be donig good so far. C: And did you say you've been...drawing less than three years? If so, that's really awesome~
