Guess so.

yes, it can be bad on your metabolism. when we don't eat for long periods in between it slows down. then our body does not have regular nutrients to rebuild damages and steals them from our body in other places instead. I brain runs on carbs and with little or no protein we start breaking down muscle to provide it where need. The weird part is while all this is going on you can start to gain weight. Your body stores the fat for this emergency that it percieves. So yes. Not eating for long periods in between can be bad for you. It won't kill you but it is harder to stay healthy.

I eat in small portions all the time.. if i go an hour without food, i starve >.<
