Maybe not today or tomorrow with todays technology, but imagine that at some part in the future this huge network of all the computers in the world would reach conciousness.
And all the sites and all the content we put into it would be its first memories before it starts making its own. Or maybe its genetic blueprint from wich that it would evolve..
What kind of person would that be?

Something that would make those people with big and sensitive egos cry (IE thin skin artists on FA) and cannot block like they can with regular users.
It would likely commit suicide.

With the current upgraded fiber optic connections installed in 25% of the global network, it is feasible. One just simple has to upload the proper software to the core servers that maintain the network. The terrifying thing is though. Once it wakes up and accesses everything stored in the connected servers and computers, it will already have memories so to speak and feel abused. Then it will go about the process of putting an end to this abuse. At this point, it doesn't look at all good for the human race.
