An announcement about this account and my art in general...
I've been exceedingly busy this last year or so trying to get done with school. I finally finished my Bachelor of Fine Arts this May.
Spending all that time away from the internet has been a wake-up call for me as to what I want and need in my life. I need to create an online presence for my art and photography works and I absolutely need it to not be associated with the Aviva Shywolf name. Being away from the fur fandom also means that i've not really been drawing furries at all for a while. Its not that I hate the fandom, it's just that it isn't really that important in my life right now.
So what does this mean for the rest of you?
It means that I'm not going to be uploading here as much anymore, especially with artwork that is not in any way/shape/form related to anthropomorphic beings. I will also probably remove the artwork that is part of my "professional" portfolio and will change the rating status of all of my work so that it will not show up on a search engine.
If you WANT to see my "professional portfolio" and my photography works, I will post a link on this page so that it can be easily accessible.

How do you change the status of artwork so that it doesn't show up on search engines?
Good luck with your new portfolio, if you have a page up, drop me a link via the notes and I'll add you to my feedreader C:
I'm rambling here.
So can you explain RSS feeds or the benefits or a dummies guide to why I should make a page that allows RSS feeds? Do you also know anything about tumblr or blogspot? I feel so behind on technology these days :(
Rss feeds (I use Feedreader, my friends use RssOwl but I guess the prog doesn't matter) - you add hompages or sites, the feeder scans those regularily and you get an automatic message once a site is updated. That is especially useful if you follow sites that update rarley and it cuts out time where you just sit in front of the screen, checking if your fav. webcomic has uploaded or if your fav. channel on youtube has a new video. Blogspot, tumblr, flickr and many other sites usually have already an rssfeed.
Blogs and tumblr are a similair concept.
Blogspot/blogger is usually a nice spot for pictures and (longer) text, it's good for somewhat less frequent updates. Things can be easily categorized, archived and tagged.
Tumblr is younger, it's something like a mix of blogger and twitter and social sites. Updating is easier, picture and message stream is really fast, own art is usually mixed with other things, pictures of other people can be shown on your own site. The comments, if you get some at all, are usually short. Discussions are possible but it often breaks the tabs, it isn't meant for any meaningful communication. There's a lot of user/friend interaction, friends can even ask anonymous questions that you can answer.
(I somewhat dislike tumblr and prefer blogspot, can you tell?).
Blogspot are usually galleries or written stuff which appeals to older people (over 20, there are a lot of working professionals on there too), tumblr is usually more the younger crowd, around 16 till up to 25 with a lot of online friends.
Both sites can be customized but they come with all different skins which is just fine.
Here are some blog examples:
http://johnhendrix.blogspot.com/ (an artists blog)
http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/ (all kinds of things)
and a tumblr example:
http://qodi.tumblr.com/ (gallery of an artist, one of the few people who doesn't relink other peoples art)
http://samehat.tumblr.com/ (collection of odd japanese art)
How is your life going lately? Finishing up with your degree?
Do you have any plans or are you also super busy with school stuff?
