lostlove strikes once again! :D
For a brief overview BTW....holy CRAP!!! Okay:
*Wednesday: JR arrived at 2 am, I went to work, and then after? EEE! AFTERPARTY!! Well, more like a "BEFORE party", but it was after the first of two Toronto New Kids concerts, the second of which my posse and I were attending. Of course, Donnie was "der pup of der hour". (And Jordan was there too but meh.. ;))
JR got us tickets to it, and after a nice dinner at the Spaghetti Factory, we hit the C-Lounge, where it was at. We got there early so were one of the first people in. There was a couch near the stage so we chilled there. Turns out, we picked the best spot in the house, since Donnie and Jordan used that area to get to and from the stage. So, I wound up getting to chat with der puppy a little! I gave him some more of my art, since he's fond of my furry stuff, and he gave me a hug or three. :) Turns out I was an asset to their security too. I've known some friends who've worked at clubs, and I know the ins and outs of stuff as a result. So when the crowd got too crazy, I wound up gradually helping filter people in and out and keep things organized, to the point where a couple of fans asked me of I worked there. XD At the end of the night though, I got thanked by Victor, who was one of the main guards for NKOTB, and a nod of approval from Earl, whose job was to be Donnie's personal border collie.
#WINNING.
Thursday was the concert and this was probably the best New Kids concert experience I had been to since 2008, when they first reunited. The seats were WAYYYYY up, and I didn't know half the BSB stuff, but it didn't matter. Me, JR, Dumpling and Sassy had a HUGE blast, and being there with my mate and 2 of my closest friends made this one of the most special concert experiences I've ever had!!
Friday I flatlined. Completely, utterly FLATLINED. Since I had worked a 6 day workweek, had Sunday off, worked 3 more days, followed that with a dumping of HOLYFUCKADRENALINEWHEEEEE, and then kicked in with my womanly cycle, my body just went "Okay DONE." and I wound up feeling very drained....and also very frustrated, since I still wanted to go out and run around and do stuff. :\ I'm feeling a little better now though, AND rested. But rrrrrrgh!
Today it quieter than I wanted it to be. Today I wanted to go to Centre Island with my friends and JR, but no, the weather decided to be grossly uncertain, and it's been threatening rain and storms all day. Since I wasn't sure what it was going to do, and Centre Island is no fun in the rain, I cancelled that meetup, and chilled out instead. Not the world's most awesome time, but I get to spend it with my loving boyfriend and I DID take him around my local neighbourhood, so I'd say it's far from a complete washout. :)
SO that is my weekend. Also, you all can thank me for saving hte world. Der puppy lives on Canadian Jackrabbit snugs, and without them, he will turn inside out and then die......taking most of the world's civilization with him. Now that I have risked my own life by making sure this der puppy is well-snuggled (and scritched and petted, and kissed on the cheek and given artwork), the world is safe once again.
Until the next time he is in Toronto.

And in two weeks... more fun times! I've put together a whole plan for going to see Cars 2 at Anthrocon. The only thing I lack is showtimes!
"...and there was MUCH rejoicing!"
