Well my comp is fixed now but won't accept more than 2 gigs of ram evan thought it reads the two sticks of 2 gig it will not use them only one. Bones is bieng one hell of a nice guy helping out with the whole problem any one think they can help out in figuring out how to solve the issue should contact him. He thinks it's an issue with the motherboard and I think he's right according to the boards he was checking out for information. The mother board is rated for 8 gigs of ram but will only use 2 gigs.

What is the Operating system? XP,Vista,7?

Make sure you're using a 64 bit OS. Windows 7 x86 is limited to 2 gigs of ram, 3 gigs in some cases (I don't know the exact details though, so that may be something to check out). If you are running Win7 x64 and it's still not registering; double check the ram cards. If you have a spare, I'd suggest testing that with your Motherboard before calling it shot.
