So this is a thing
I said I was leaving. And I kinda did for a while. Stopped checking here, stopped checking my other furry sites, and kinda fell off the face of the earth. Well, everything has to come full circle eventually. So I'm back on here. And on my other furry sites. And still not really talking to anyone because I have no one to really talk to.
I've been writing again recently. Ok, well, more than recently. I was writing a backstory for my ponysona Quydlin Moongrove, but that's on hold right now. I dunno if I'll ever finish it. I kinda did once. Eternity's Echo was the name. And then I lost it when my lovely laptop died. So, taking to Google Docs, I started Eternity's Awakening, a prequel to his back story. And a hell of a lot better in terms of writing, detail and storytelling. It's now on hold because while I do have scenes planned, I dunno how I'm getting there and don't wanna try right now. This has been the state I've been in for several months. Then I started a nifty little story focused on a new character named Talthanir. Worked on that for a few days, went on hiatus for a few months, and then got sick. Normally when I get sick, I play Minecraft and built obscenely huge things (like a tank you can see from space). This time, my sickness-induced insomnia led to me writing. And thus Damocles was born. And posted.
Copying things from Google Docs to the variety of sites I post stuff on, using a phone, is harder than it should be. I spent 3 hours trying to get it done last night. Formatting errors from hell, browser crashes, and impatience won the day. So I had to hook the internet back up to the desktop in the living room. Which in and of itself is a chore from hell. This launched several more quiet cursing fits as everything just didn't want to fething work. Finally get the Internet working, finally being the process of getting Damocles set up on on the various sites. . .and I made the mistake of hitting the Enter key. Conveniently right when I hit the Enter key, a nice pop-up was opening from some program or another, which forced the computer to restart, making me lose everything I had just fought to accomplish. Again. Following this was, I swear, the single longest start-up process in history. I think the computers in the 50s booted up faster than this.
It is now 6 in the morning. Is it too early to get wasted?
