Frustrating situation...
So, the spring semester at Liberty University ended over a month ago. However, I am still not done. As many of you know, I am in their aviation program. Near the end of the semester, there was a a storm that took around 10 days to pass. Since many people were trying to finish their course, all the examiners were backed up pretty bad trying to get everyone through to take the final test. All the students were allowed a thirty-day extension to get everything done. I thought this was completely doable. However, I needed to finish five hours of ground lessons before I was ready to take the test. Again, I didn't have anything against it. It was pretty easy to finish five hours, but my instructor was really slow in getting them done.
I was finally ready to take the test, so I was going to take a review flight, since it had been a little over a month since the last time I was in the air. To my dismay, it was pretty rough. You don't retain it like riding a bike or driving a car. I needed one more review flight, so I had to reschedule the test. The next review flight, I did great and I was 100% confident that I could pass the test with no problems. By this time, I only had four days until the extension deadline, but considering how easily an instructor picked up my request the last time, I still wasn't worried; but no one contacted me each day until the deadline came and so I technically "failed" the course because I couldn't take the test on time.
Now I am forced finish up my training outside of the college at a different flight school to get my private pilot license before next semester, since that is a requirement for just about every class I have next semester. All my stuff, except for some clothes and my computer/phone/iPad, are back in Missouri and I am still stuck here in Virginia.
I was really looking forward to being back home with my family, being able to focus on getting some money and writing my story, but oh well. I will still try to write the next chapter in the story while I wait to get started in this new flight school. I apologize for the wait. I hate abandoning my characters for this long of a time.

OP
Thanks. On the plus side, that means I have a little more time to hang out with everyone a little longer.
