something i'll never understand about humans,

well luckily i think that the government does not fund bigdog anymore which was the one that was going to be used in war. I was very sad about that before

i remember reading a story in analog a few years back in which a soldier in the field had to improvise repairs to one in order to keep going. they were paired with humans and used mostly as mules, but also for some closely supported tactical recon.

i like stories about the little details of kludging up work arounds and make do's on strange things in strange places. that's how i got into sf which is how i got into furry.
