What'd you expect? It's a sequel to one of the most beloved video game trilogies of recent memory. We've been waiting four years and everyone has overhyped themselves to the fucking max and there's no way it'll meet expectations. Honestly, I'm gonna enjoy the game just to spite all these people.

Sorry. I've just been seeing a lot of this lately, and my grumpiness was speaking for me.

I want to love this game but yeah, it doesn't look good.

At least we're being reasonable and not just letting this slide because of our fan bias. Far too many fans are sticking their heads in the sand about this.. it's disrespectful to the franchise itself.

I am still going to get it, I've played buggy games, hell I really enjoyed Defiance and it wasn't a great game. But yeah, five years to work on it it should have been better in the CC and bugs too. Still if the dialogue and combat is good its not so bad a thing.

And if it is then multiplayer is there and I love that!

This and not having any quarians is really making me iffy about buying it. Even if it does have Jaal.

Lots of games in 2017 have absolutely none of these problems. Horizon zero dawn and zelda breath of the wild already showed the world that fact in grand fashion.

Okay, I'll admit that the facial animations for the original trilogy were kinda lackluster, but at least they didn't look WRONG. People can say 'I don't care, so long as the story/gameplay/whatever is good', but this is a high-budget game that is taking a step backwards in quality from previous entries in it's own series. That is not worth throwing your financial support behind.

I dont know why it matters so much to everyone! Surely the gameplay is what matters most because its a game! At least they tried, especially with having to learn a new engine, alot of games like dark souls dont even have facial animations yet it is still successful.

It SHOULD matter to everyone. This is 5 years worth of development time, and plenty of times the devs themselves have said they were planning to fix these problems and they fucking haven't. It matters to everyone because it damn well should matter, and blindly accepting it just because you're a fanboy of the franchise does Mass Effect a disservice.

I'm not saying don't buy the fucking game, because every fan like myself is still going to get the bloody thing. But accepting this level of shit just to support a game franchise I love is stupid. This is bad, and not calling it out for being bad is shilling for bioware's ineptitude which nobody who loves this universe should ever do.

To note, Bioware originally told consumers that animations would be fixed prior to launch when jankiness was observed in recent trailers.

the game isn't officially out tho? just the Origin Access 10h demo, no? D: maybe it will be better once the game officially launches in every country (because the dates aren't the same everywhere x_x)

Day One patch is included in the trial version, so fixes would have to come post-launch.

Yeah some of that animations are not contemporary.
But it´s absolutely no reason to not buy Andromeda.

I´m fan since Mass Effect 1 was born ages ago and this is beside the elder scrolls series my favorite game franchise.
In Mass Effect series some animations were always crap but it never really bother me.
I´m just hoping they may use a new engine for upcoming games.

I´l do my review after playing it, because there will always be people who hate the game without even playing it.

And on top of that Eaware consists of anti white racists, feminazi's and sjw's. Even the lead writer for Andromeda left, so yea, maybe when it's 99% off I might get it

Was really excited for a new Mass Effect game, but I think I'll have to watch actual gameplay footage of the final release before buying. Is this really what 4 years of development look like??
